Über uns
Wir Promovierenden an der Uni Münster sind eine vielseitige Gruppe: von der Individualpromotion über die
nebenberufliche Promotion bis zur klassischen Lehrstuhlstelle. Unser Alltag ist so unterschiedlich wie unsere Kontexte –
sei es als Studierende, Mitarbeiter*innen in Forschungsprojekten oder Lehrende. Damit gehen Herausforderungen wie
Abhängigkeiten zur Betreuungsperson, Zeitmanagement oder Finanzierung einher.

Unsere Aufgabe: Wir sind eure Ansprechpartner*innen für alle promotionsbezogenen Fragen und vertreten eure
Interessen gegenüber Rektorat, Fachbereichen und weiteren Einrichtungen. Als autonomes Referat im AStA informieren,
unterstützen und vernetzen wir euch – unabhängig davon, ob ihr an der Uni angestellt seid oder extern promoviert.

PhD Writing Retreat in Bacharach 6–11 December 2026 | Burg Stahleck
Need time and space to make real progress on your PhD?
Join us for almost six days of focused writing, inspiring views and good company at the historic Burg Stahleck in Bacharach. High above the Rhine, we will work together in a shared writing room, exchange ideas and enjoy the company of fellow PhD researchers from different disciplines and backgrounds.

6–11 December 2026, Jugendherberge Burg Stahleck, Bacharach 

Price:
The standard price is €230 per person for the entire retreat. It includes:

• five nights’ accommodation
• a desk in our shared working room with a stunning view and
• four meals per day (breakfast, lunch, coffee and cake, dinner)

• two-person room: additional €48 per person;
• single room: additional €123 per person.
